Common Kingfisher

Alcedo atthis

The Common Kingfisher is a small bird located in Eurasia and Northern Africa. They have brilliant plumage of contrasting blue and orange, and can often be seen diving into the water on the hunt for small fish.

This model comes with its own little fishy friend! Although it may not seem as enthused as the kingfisher, it plays a vital role in both the ecosystem and the scene. This particular fish is based off of the common minnow, usually used as bait for fishing.
